Name That Landmark II

I was out of town on a cruise to Cabo San Lucas over the holiday weekend. It was a great trip with plenty of good weather, good food, good drinks, and good times with our friends the Binghams.
Consequently, I'm a little behind posting a new guess the landmark puzzle, but here it is. If you need help orienting yourself on the globe, click here for a higher view from space. We'll drop down to airplane height tomorrow.

HINT/SPOILER ALERT (If you don't want any hints, don't read this comment any further)

Again, difficult to identify the specific landmark you are looking for on a map that covers an area with several landmarks. There appear to be three countries, and at least two significant cities on that map (one of which is a nice place, and the other of which had grace).

If I had to make a guess I'd say that the landmark might be a 2-door luxury coup introduced by Chevrolet in 1970 as competition with the Ford Thunderbird.

LOL, you have a way with words, and with landmarks.
