Carmen Sandiego Answer

Well everybody who posted an answer got it right although Cuckoo was the first to reply. The correct answer for the pictured building is the Rathaus (town hall) in the Marienplatz in downtown Munich, Germany. As Danny pointed out, it became the New Town Hall when it replaced the the old town hall in 1874. The clues were not specific to the picture, so I would have also accepted simply Munich as a correct answer.

Neues Rathaus - München, De.

But Carmen Sandiego isn't caught that easily. While we were distracted by the Rathaus Glockenspiel she and her henchmen slipped away to Franz Josef Strauss airport and fled to another part of the world. Near or far? We don't know. Maybe the locals will have some clues. Check back next week.

Coffee

I've been a coffee drinker as long as I can remember. I enjoyed coffee long before I cared about what kind of beans were used or how they were ground. A can of 8 O'Clock suited me just fine. With the advent of the popular coffee shops like Starbucks and Caribou Coffee, I became more particular about my coffee. Now I only use arabica beans that are roasted to the fullness that I prefer. I grind them fresh for each brewing, and only use a burr grinder. I can make drip coffee, french press coffee, and even have a Nespresso machine with a milk steamer for making lattes and cappuccinos. But even with my current coffee snobbery I still love a cup of Dunkin' Donuts coffee. They made great coffee before the coffee craze, and they still do.
