Here's a closer look at the destination. Since there isn't a well known identifying landmark (that I know of) it will probably take some Google map browsing to identify this view. Zoom in view coming tomorrow.

Name That Landmark - Airplane View

Ok, so in the previous image I could tell what area of the world we were looking at, but there were several large and popular destinations. I didn't have enough information to narrow down specifically which of the many destinations you were intending.
Now I can narrow it down to a specific city at least. If the city itself is the destination, then I've got it. However, if you're looking for a particular location within the city, I'll probably need to wait for you to Zoom in a bit more.
As for well known identifying landmarks, if the city itself is the the destination, what about the one at: 46.8118, -71.2052
That is indeed a significant landmark, as is this nearby:
46.807837, -71.206750. In fact both are near what I chose for the final picture.
